Isaac Thomas Goodine
Isaac (Ike) Goodine's work is founded in the belief that the accident of the place of one's birth need not determine where one earns a livelihood, forever. He lived and worked outside his home country for 27 years before resetteling in Canada.
He is the proprietor of Isaac T. Goodine & Associates (ITGA) and maintains an network of independent associates who are 'on-call' to provide consulting services for the internationalization of human development. He is an accoplished diplomatist with experience in the art of creating synergy by teambuilding.
For definition and examples see Website: www.weblearneng.com/diplomatist
Experience shows that effective human action in dealing with any kind of crisis or problem is dependent on two key factors: (1) The Resources, both human and material, which can be brought to bear on the situation, and (2) The Process, how the resources are utilized in dealing with the situation.
If either one of these two factors is missing, the chance of success is nil. But, if people work together utilizing their resources rationally and humanely, they can produce results beyond the mere sum of their individual inputs. This is what is called 'synergy'--two or more achieving an effect which exceeds anything they could do individually. Participatory and democratic human development requires facilitators--diplomatists, who can help others to transcend 'tribal' interests and international boundaries to promote peace and prosperity.

Speaker
In his latest speech delivered in 2010, Isaac identified a need for a world exchange in human capital that would parallel the system used for establishing and maintaining currency exchange rates for the financial sector and trade in comodities. For many jurisdictions human capital is transferred across boarders without a rational system for evaluating and accrediting the relative merits of education and training between the sending and receiving countries involved. The objective of the world exchange would be to create a win-win environment that would be mutually beneficial to employers and workers. The related paper is available on-line.
